Open wheel cars come in many varied looks. Some of types include Formula cars with engines in the rear, to sprint cars, midgets and Micro Sprints with engines in the front, competing on road courses to ovals on dirt and pavement.
Open-wheel vehicles, due to their light weight, aerodynamic capabilities, and powerful engines, are often considered the fastest racing vehicles available and among the most challenging to master. Wheel-to-wheel contact is dangerous, particularly when one tire contacts another tire, sending the car skyward!
